World Environment Day June 5th 2024

In Coordination with Telangana All Seniour Citizens Association, JAS has conducted a Walk Rally and a Oath Taking meeting on Occassion of World Environment Day today

Around with 60 parcticipants, Rally went with holding Eco friendly Cloth banners and Eco friendly Card board Placards with Go green Slogans in Vanasthalipuram, starting from Post office via Complex, Raitu bazar, Sushma Chowrasta, ZPHS School, and ended at Colony Welfare Association building. All the way every participant tried to motivate the public with their slogans, about the importance of avoiding use and throw Plastic, Using Cloth bags, Planting tress etc.

After Rally, a meeting was conducted with Eco friendly way without any single plastic cover used.

All the participants discussed the importance of Eco friendly Lifestyle and shared their practices each of them following in their daily life. 

JAS Chairman Bhavana Srinivas while addressing the participant, reminded them the Theme of this Year " Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience" and insisted all the participants to leave land for Rain water Harvesting in everyones house and their surrounding. He gave a call... Let us use the coming rainy season and increase our Ground Water levels and stop depending on River water.

Program Ended with an Oath for Environment Protection

 JAS has freely distributed Cloth bags to all the Participants and Sparrow nests to the Guests.
