Holy Campaign

Image
The Colours that we have provided to the public were prepared by the Tribal Groups and Self Help Groups from Natural Items like Flowers, Stems, Barks, Vegetables etc. They were technically assisted by the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University. The flowers shown in the picture are 'MODUGA' (in Telugu). Boiling of these flowers and using that water to spray during holy, will help reducing over heat in the body. In fact this is the suggested option to celebrate holy as the purpose of the festival is protect ourselves from the Changing Temperature (The 'Moduga' tree leaves are used to prepare Leaf Plates. See the picture below for that plant) We should strictly avoid Chemical Colours. They consume more water to clean ourselves. Colours are also harmful to the skin and Eyes.

Paper bag Campaign on Maha Siva Rathri day at Temple

Image
Hi, today we have distributed the home made Paper Bags in Temple Premises. We tried to create Awareness in the possible number of members about the problems of Polythene Carry Bags. To be fact, the habit of carrying Coconuts in the Plastic Bags at temples is such an activity... praying Father (God) and killing Mother (Earth. By throwing carry bags openly). People ignoring the concept blindly. Hope our effort may make them think once and let them bring cloth bag or any other items from the next time to carry the Coconuts.
